The Proposed Project
The purpose of this project is to install additional network drops at 421 Range Road to accommodate field employees working in the warehouse. Eight new conduits will need to be run from 419 Range Road to 421 Range Road as the current conduits are at capacity.
The scope of the work is as follows:
- Route eight conduits from the DFO Communication Room in 419 Range Road to the 421 Range Road building.
- The conduits will be routed through a 2" PVC pipe through interior space and through a 4" PVC pipe underground.
- A new flush in-ground pullbox will be built on the west end of the 421 Range Road building where the conduit will terminate before being routed into the building.
- A new data cabinet will be built within the 421 Range Road building.
The project will be mostly exterior work with approximately 62 metres of trenching being required. The project is located within the vicinity of suspect contaminated soils.
