The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which consists of the construction of a building that will house the 51st Field Ambulance. The new construction will consolidate the medical resources distributed across several buildings into a single access point. The project is design built and the building may be 1 or 2 floors depending on the firm selected. The building area will measure a minimum of 1130 square meters and a maximum of 1500 square meters. DND will opt for energy performance and follow Treasury Board guidelines accordingly. The land is already serviced but soil will be excavated to build the foundations. No trees will be cut down.
