Public Comment Period on Intent to Make a Determination
2021-08-11 - Infrastructure Canada, Transport Canada, and the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation must determine whether the proposed Safety Repairs on Canal Trail project, located in Thorold, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada, Transport Canada, and the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online]. Project Summary:
The project will replace 0.75 km of existing asphalt on the recreational trail along the Greater Niagara Circle Route from Port Robinson Road to City of Welland boundary in the City of Thorold, Ontario. Works will occur adjacent to the Welland Canal.
