Tsuut'ina Nation The Shops at Buffalo Run – Public Comments Invited

April 22, 2021 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tsuut'ina Nation The Shops at Buffalo Run project located on Tsuut'ina Nation land is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Tsuut'ina Nation's Taza Development Corporation plans to construct a new multi-building shopping center of approximately 275,000 (sf) along Buffalo Run Boulevard. A total of 14 buildings of various sizes will be constructed on the site. Site development surrounding the buildings will include approximately 1100 paved parking stalls, a park at the north end of the site, a park at the south end of the site and landscaping throughout.
