The Campbellford Bridge/Trent River Crossing Project was approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act in June 2017 following a completion of an Environmental Study Report (ESR) under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process. An Addendum to this ESR was issued on March 4, 2021, to document a proposed change to the ESR. Specifically, that the County is now proposing a roundabout for the approach on the western side of the crossing at Alma Street and Grand Road. This Addendum is available for a 30-day commenting period, ending on April 4, 2021. Note that portions of this project will occur on federal lands managed by Parks Canada, for which a Detailed Impact Assessment will be conducted.
