February 17, 2021 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

Inside Edge Properties (on behalf of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services) is to execute a project to replace the roof (approx. 26,000 m2) on the existing building at 4210 Labelle Street, Ottawa, Ontario in spring 2021. The physical work encompasses replacement of the roofing and drainage systems, repairs to the existing plumbing system, and the removal and reinstallation of the existing roof top HVAC units.
