YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel - Removal of two underground tanks – Public Comments Invited

July 30, 2020 – ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project for the removal of two underground tanks at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The project involves the removal of two 10,000-litre underground fiberglass tanks. These petroleum product storage tanks were connected to a separator located in a nearby building.

These tanks, which are no longer in use and have been emptied, must be removed in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The work to remove and dispose of the tanks and surrounding soil will be carried out by a competent contractor holding the required licences.
