Public Comment Period on Intent to Make a Determination
Building and Property Maintenance at Dollard-des-Ormeaux School

June 18,  2020 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

Maintaining Dollard-des-Ormeaux School:
· Redevelopment of the drop-off zone for school buses and integration of the extra area for parents disembarking children along Ladas Street.
· Repair or repair of some concrete steps around the school.
· Repair of certain sanitary blocks inside the school.
· Repair of the elastomer membrane on a section of the school building.
