Reservation Road Subdivision Development – Public Comments Invited

June 16, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Reservation Road Subdivision Development, located in We'kmoqa'q First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

 The Proposed Project

Development of a residential subdivision for approximately 20 single family dwelling units.  The subdivision is to be constructed on 2.75 ha parcel of partially cleared.  The land will require some clearing, grubbing, construction of 300m road using imported pit run gravel, type 1 and type 2 gravels.  The work also includes the installation of sanitary sewer (approx. 470m), manholes, watermain (approx. 300m) and associated water and sewer lot services.
