Re-issuing of Environmental Assessment Decision Statement

December 18, 2015 - The Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, re-issued a Decision Statement under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) for the proposed Tazi Twé Hydroelectric Project.

The Decision Statement is being re-issued in order to correct an error in Condition 3.4 to permit the operation of the bypass conduit during planned and unplanned shutdowns at the flow rate that was considered during the environmental assessment.
