OTTAWA – June 1, 2011 – The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the CEA Agency) and the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) invite the public to comment on the environmental assessment of the proposed Ajax Copper-Gold Mine Project, in British Columbia (BC).

To assist the public in providing comments, a background document is available on the CEA Agency Web site or on the EAO Web site at www.eao.gov.bc.ca. The document is also available in hard copy, by request.

The comment period will run from June 8, 2011 to July 11, 2011. Public comments received during this time period will be considered.
